About the role
You will support and lead your team to ensure the effective day to day management of the services operations demonstating leadership, supportive direction and coordination of staff. You will ensure that effective and mutually beneficial relationships are developed and maintained through effective contribution to and communication with stakeholders. You will also ensure effective working relationships exist with key Government agencies such as Area Health Services visiting Health Practitioners and Accreditation bodies.
- You will undertake regular reviews of the service operations to ensure that they continue to meet the needs of the organisation its staff and clients.
- You lead your team to manage the application and implementation of policies, procedures and the organisations philosophy of care with attention to detail to achieve the maximisation of funding, accreditation processes and complaints management processes.
- Ensure budgets are being managed correctly and compliance maintained with a range of legislation such as the Aged Care Act (1997).
You will be a compassionate innovative professional with a strong drive and passion for aged care.
You will be an AHPRA RN Registered Div 1 with prior Aged Care Management Experience. You will have an exceptional understanding of ACFI along with knowledge and experience in Aged Care Accreditation Standards and processes. You will have related qualifications and competence in geriatrics and or dementia or demonstrated competences in these areas, along with Staff management skills and Strong leadership capabilities. You will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in co-ordinating a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with sound interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Ideally you will also have experience and strong understanding of the Household model of care in relation to dementia care and the Hammond Care Design Principles.
